Drawing from learning gathered through 20 years of practice, Lori Martin provides body based therapy to individuals hoping to feel better in their bodies and lives. She fuses together therapeutically oriented modalities that address the whole person – physically, psychologically, energetically, and spiritually. In 1996 she left a successful advertising career to complete training in Hellerwork Structural Integration and since then, has continued to increase her skills through continuing education related to Structural Integration and other healing modalities. A student of yoga since 1994, she completed yoga teacher training with Ana Forrest in 2001. The same year she began studying Craniosacral Therapy and completed advanced training in this modality in 2003. In 2009 she received a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University with the intention of incorporating body centered and other forms of psychotherapy into her practice. Currently, she is engaged in advanced study of Eugene Gendlin’s Focusing. Lori brings awareness of physical structure, support for emotional health and presence of spirit to her practice.
