Lisa Capa

Board Learning Circle, Co-Founder

Passionate about spirit, love, and union, Lisa is a dedicated educator, who fosters a sense of groundedness and mindfulness in all experiences. She has provided a decade of service as a faculty member at Presidio Graduate School (previously called Bainbridge Graduate Institute and Pinchot University) delivering the leadership and personal development curriculum in an MBA for Sustainable Systems program.

While studying at Bainbridge Graduate Institute, before it became Pinchot University and now Presidio Graduate School, Lisa started envisioning her own business focusing on leading businesses from the heart in the service of global consciousness. Before venturing on her own, she earned a PhD in Philosophy and Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies where she researched the role of attention cultivation in leadership development for sustainable business. Currently she is adjunct faculty at Saybrook University.

Through her experiences as a business person (15 years in the computer and information technology industry), student, teacher, mentor, and in her current role as Collaborator at Dynamic Peace, Lisa has learned that, by gathering people who are eager to give and receive knowledge and by cultivating an environment that encourages personal development, creativity can flourish. Nurturing this creativity evolves compassionate and aware people who can then cultivate the types of products and services that benefit all of humanity.
